The millennial weddings to be held in 2019 are breaking the traditional trends to give way to new airs. Decoration, fashion and even gastronomy will undergo changes to receive new trends for weddings. Attentive, changes come!
It is the law of life, fashions come and go. Like everything in this life, to stay up to date, you have to renew or die. And that is what happens every year with the wedding trends, which are renewed, giving way to novelties that fill the long-awaited day with fresh air.
If you are the lucky one who already has a date for 2019, watch out for these old trends that are no longer going to take place next year.
No to the closed menu
Traditionally, wedding banquets are done sitting down, with a waiter serving each of the guests the dishes. Some dishes that are in a unique menu, closed by the couple. But, that trend is over. The new trend will be to create food stations, with the air of self service, in which to offer your guests different dishes, for different tastes.
Farewell to the rustic
In this year we will see how the trend of rustic decoration evolves to almost disappear. Although, as a result we will see a more natural decoration, with predominance of small green plants. All this, together with a more minimalist style.
The classic dresses
Millennial brides no longer dream of princess dresses, despite maintaining a touch of fairytale. For this, the classic models of brides will be renewed and we will see very different styles. The pants will be the order of the day thanks to the incorporation of brides with monkeys or in two pieces, with pants and body. Without a doubt, a whole turn of the classic style.
Reminders with little use
Traditionally at weddings, we received that typical detail that is supposed to remind us of a nice link and the only thing we get with it is to store it in a drawer and keep it in powder. But, the boyfriends now are much more practical and give away much more useful things, such as survival kits for after the wedding, jam jars, oils or even shoes to get off the heels and dance comfortably.
Nothing monochromatic
If you think about a wedding, the first thing that comes to mind is the color white. But at present weddings pastel colors have been introduced, both in the decoration and in the clothes of the bride. This season, we will see how they also add more vivid colors, combined with each other.
Goodbye veil, hello cloak!
Although the veil has already gone back and forth from wedding trends, this next season will continue to shine by its absence. It will be replaced by layers for brides. Layers of long sleeves, short, with glue, with transparencies and many more options.
