Now, the wait to be able to say ‘yes, I do’ does not seem so long, since the de-escalation plan will allow the celebration of weddings from phase 2 or intermediate (scheduled from May 25 to June 8). However, it will have to be a ceremony with a “limited number of attendees”, although the exact number of people is not yet reflected.
It will not be until phase 3 or advanced (from June 8, depending on the progress of each province), the last before reaching the desired ‘new normal’, when this number of attendees may be “more extensive”.
In both phases, the interpersonal distancing measures and hygiene recommendations promoted by Health will have to be respected. As stated in the BOE, to attend civil and religious ceremonies, attendees must be guaranteed “the possibility of respecting the distance between them of at least one meter.”
