Wedding garters for brides are almost an essential item in a bridal look. It is said their origin dates back to the XIV Century in the French Court. It was believed that getting a piece of the dress worn by the bride was good fortune. The brides would end up with their dresses completely broken, and so this wouldn’t happen, they began to use wedding garters.
Currently, the wedding garters are usually borrowed (something old) or with some detail in blue, as the tradiction dictates. There are different styles of wedding garters, but most of them are made of satin, lace, tulle or chiffon. They can have details with glitter or a bow. It is the perfect gift for a friend who is getting married, and certainly a very sexy accessory.
